Mr. Md. Maruf Sikder ACCA is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant. He completed his BBA and MBA with majors in Accounting & Information Systems from the University of Dhaka.

He has more than 12 years of working experiences in the areas of accounts, finance, compliance, and operations, including budgeting and control; anti-money laundering; risk management; stakeholder management; banking communication; regulatory and management reporting; and strategic business planning etc.

He is well-versed in IASs and IFRSs, taxation, and the operations of merchant banks and asset management companies. He attended numerous training programs on topics such as business valuation and financial modeling; financial statement analysis and fraud detection; public issue rules; BSEC supervision of mutual funds and asset management companies; and compliance with securities market rules and regulations etc.

Mr. Sikder joined IL Capital Limited in the year of 2015. He currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer and CAMLCO at IL Capital Limited. Before joining IL Capital Limited, he worked for Alliance Capital Asset Management Limited (ACAML), a reputed asset management company in Bangladesh.

He is an Income Tax Practitioner (ITP) certificate holder as issued by the National Board of Revenue, Bangladesh. He is a member of the Dhaka Taxes Bar Association and the Accounting Alumni of the University of Dhaka. He is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK), which is a global body for professional accountants.
