Mr. Shyamal Kanti Ghosh, Chairman
Shyamal Kanti Ghosh is the Chairman of IL Capital Limited. After retiring as Secretary to the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, he continued to serve his country in various capacities and is currently serving on the Board of Bangladesh Industrial Finance Company Limited as per the Hon’ble High Court, having served as its EC Chairman as well. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Rajshahi and later pursued his MBA. He has received numerous accolades and has been trained and certified in various international institutions; Uppsala University, Sweden; Civil Service College, Singapore; BPATC, Savar; CEE India; Bradford University, UK; International Training Center, ILO, Turin Italy; IIEP, Paris, France; Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand; and other renowned institutes in the country and abroad.
Mr. Ghosh joined the Bangladesh Civil Service in August 1983. He has managed the public sector of Bangladesh for more than 33 years, navigating a diverse array of leadership challenges in different capacities.
Notably, he served as Director General of the Directorate of Primary Education where he implemented and managed a US$8.3 billion programme, later serving on Privatization Commission, Prime Minister’s Office (Secretary to the Government) and finally he retired as the Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture. After retirement, he played a key advisory role in the Ministry of Education and its various programmers along with international development partners.
He led several teams of Government Agencies, Development Partners, International & National NGO’s and civil society to plan and design the first ever sector wide program in the country, this illustrated his excellent leadership ability and competency. His excellent quality to manage people and efficiently use money brought about revolutionary change in the Primary Education Sector of Bangladesh, which is recognized and lauded by all.
Mr. Ghosh served as Director of KAFCO, Vice Chairman of the Cotton Development Board and Chairman of BKGET along with numerous other such engagements including his role as the Member of the association of UCEP, Chief Advisor of Bangladesh Tax Training Institute etc. He is a widely travelled person and has various research works and publications to his credit. He has built a reputation of honesty, efficiency and competency through his years of work. He has continued to serve the education sector of the country in his own capacity, providing tools and infrastructure in support of curriculum and overall primary education development of the country.

Brigadier General Md Meftaul Karim, BSP, SPP, BPMS, NDC, PSC (Retd) is a Director of IL Capital Limited.
Brigadier General Mefta has served in Bangladesh Army for long 33 years and gained vast experience in the field of Leadership, Strategic Planning, Human Resource Management (HRM), Human Resource Development (HRD), Operations, Administration, Logistics, Security, Investigations etc. Besides Army, he had the unique opportunity to serve in Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI) in different capacities, Special Security Force (SSF), Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Forces, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Special Investigation Branch. He commanded Army, RAB and BGB Battalion. In higher capacities, he commanded an Independent Formation and an Artillery Brigade. Finally, he has served as Registrar of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) before proceeding on LPR on 1st January 2021.
Brigadier General Mefta has undergone number of courses both at home and abroad including National Defence Course (NDC) from National Defence College and Staff Course from Defence Services Command and Staff College.He has number of achievement under his belt including two peace time gallantry awards i,e. Bishishto Seba Padak (BSP) and Sena Parodorshita Padak (SPP) from Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Police Medal (BPM) from Bangladesh Police for his courage, dedication and patriotism for the country as a whole and organization in particular. He has also achieved 'Jatiyo Shudature' award.
Brigadier General Mefta served as Provost Officer of United Nations Iraq- Kuwait Observation Mission (UNIKOM) and Force Provost Marshall (FPM) of United Nations and African Union Mission in Darfur (UNAMID) under the banner of the 'Blue Helmet'.
Brigadier General Md Meftaul Karim, BSP, SPP, BPMS, ndc, psc (Retd) is a widely travelled person who visited more than twenty countries around the globe including Australia, South Korea, China, Russia, Italy, Singapore, etc. He is happily married and blessed with a son who is following his footsteps as an army officer and a daughter who is studying in Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP).

Mr. Emdad Hossain Sheikh is a Director of IL Capital Limited. He is an entrepreneur of Bangladesh. He has long-term working experience in different type of sector like Human resource development, technical skills development and outsourcing in different countries.
He is owned and CEO of two institute. One is JBIT CO. LTD, 5-246-5, Makuhari-Cho, HanamIgawa-Ku, Chiba-City,Japan. Another one is JAPAN BANGLADESH INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY LTD House No: 07, Road No: 33, Gulshan-2, Dhaka.
Mr. Emdad Hossain Sheikh has done M.A. He has also done Diploma in Hotel Management-ICS-2004, Kanda University of International Studies-2002 Japan and Diploma in Small Business Management, Temple University, Japan Campus in 2008.

Mr. Md. Mashiur Rahman is a director of IL Capital Limited. He is also Managing Director (CC) of International Leasing and Financial Services Limited (ILFSL).
As a career banker, Md. Mashiur Rahman served most areas of banking with confidence and reputation during the last 27 years with four private commercial banks. He worked in various positions including Head of Branch of Dhaka City; Gulshan, Dhanmondi, Mohakhali, Shantinagar & Motijheel areas. Apart from that he worked in key business positions as Head of; Industrial Credit, Corporate Finance, Retail Banking, Small & Medium Enterprises, and Agricultural Credit Divisions. He took comprehensive experiences while working as Head of Credit Risk Management, Operations, Internal Control and Compliance Divisions. He directly reported to the AC of the Board of Prime Bank Ltd. as Head of Audit & Inspection between the periods from 2013 to 2018.
Educated in Cadet College and University of Dhaka in both Science and Social Science and completed MBA from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of University of Dhaka. He obtained professional certifications in relevant working fields. Trained up in top ranking institutes of home and abroad including Japan & Malaysia, he is a leader by choice. He delivers lectures as trainer on various topics of banking & its related business to build up professional bankers.
Received awards and recognition throughout his professional career many times including Chairman's Award of Prime Bank Ltd. in 2016. Mr. Rahman is a change maker when he reformed, restored and/or reconstructed bank’s operational areas and business units many times during his banking career.
